Good pace expected with Cosmo Granite, Omega Dickon and Darlinghurst paving the way. DANON FUNSTAR (3) settled back before coming home strongly to score on debut over 2000m at Nakayama three-and-a-half months ago and has not been produced since. Promising type who can go back-to-back. TASSEL KNOT (5) is a promising galloper who resumes from a break. Last raced when third over 1800m at Nakayama nine weeks ago which was the only run of that prep. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a spell in three starts. Should be in the finish. DARLINGHURST (11) is back from a ten weeks spell and she does run well first-up, including a win over 1800m at this track at the start of last prep. Solid chance. OLUFSEN (16) has been in the market at his last couple of runs since resuming but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest seventh in the Listed Shirayuri Stakes at Kyoto over 1800m. Top-three prospects.
