CREPUSCULAR (7) was resuming from a spell of three months last start when a solid second over this course and distance. Winning rider Christophe Lemaire sticks. Fitter and is expected to prove too classy for this line-up. CHIMUGUKURU (8) ran on strongly only to just miss as favourite last start over 1400m at this track. Has race fitness on his side now. Hardest for the hot pot to beat. DAGGER RING (3) finished third last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Nicely placed to fill another top three spot. SUCCESS CALLA (6) settled at the rear then stoked up nicely in the straight to finish fifth over 1400m here last time. Among the fringe chances.
