Expecting Dougie's Dream to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. REDEMPTION TIME (9) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 34 starts. Was again denied last start when she found one better over 975m at Swan Hill. In the right race and there is no reason she cannot get the major prize. SPINHOF (7) hasn't been too far away of late, the latest effort a fourth, beaten 0.9 lengths, at this track over 1000m. Deserves to break through and could sneak into the finish. OVER THE EDGE (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at Strathalbyn, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to take this out. SHADOW BLACK (6) has been building this prep and wasn't far off Redemption Time last time, so if that's the right form she's got to be considered now at peak fitness. MINESITE (2) raced below his best last time when eighth over 1000m at this track, beaten 5 lengths but looks nicely placed to bounce back in a race of this quality. SUGGESTED PLAY: Redemption Time each-way.
