Major Major and Pacifico to set a strong tempo, joined by Hakata Bay pushing on. PACIFICO (2) just battled here last time out after a really gutsy win on this track before that. He is up in the weights now, but if he strikes heavy ground here, then he is good enough to bounce straight back into the winners' circle here. AWHINA (11) raced handy to the pace but gave little in the run home at Te Aroha last time out on a very heavy track. She is likely to strike a better surface here, and she is worth another chance, especially with 5kg less to carry. Each way value. DROP OF SOMETHING (6) has turned a corner with his form recently against similar fields to this. A good draw and a heavy track will have him right in the finish again. HEZASHOCKA (4) is on his last chance with us, and he is now at a place in the weights where we can expect a form reversal. Include in all top 4 combos. MAJOR MAJOR (12) needed his fresh up run at Te Aroha, and if he doesn't need this run as well, then he can be a quick improver at good each-way odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hezashocka each way value.
