Expecting Mamaragan to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. SAPPHIRE REIGN (8) finished 4.5 lengths back in ninth over 1000m at Gold Coast last time out after a gutsy win the start prior. Will find this a little easier than last time and should prove very hard to stop. BOLD AS BRASS (10) raced below his best last time when sixth over 1400m at Sunshine Coast, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Won't find this as tough so he is set to turn things around. HORRIBLE HANK (5) produced a better run last start, beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 1200m at Nanango. No surprise to see him in contention. EMBOLDEN (11) gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim and may trouble the judge with any luck from the outside draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning towards Sapphire Reign.
