Genuine pace with Nijito Tarte crossing from the outside gate in search of the lead. LEON POLARIS (9) just missed last time when a head away in second at Urawa over 1500m. Expected to go well. GARNIER (3) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Funabashi three-and-a-half months ago. Still to win at the trip but goes well, placing at all four starts and should be in the finish. RHEIN STRYKER (10) was out of the money last start over 1500m at Urawa, finishing fourth. Will look for a better run this time out as an each-way chance. NIJITO TARTE (14) returns from a spell. Finished third at this track and distance at her only appearance last prep ten weeks ago. Tsubasa Sasagawa who has scored on her six times retains the mount. One of the better hopes.
