Solid tempo with Nazorian possessing enough dash to find the front. Tough. WARICA (2) has had one blip in a string of solid efforts and should appreciate returning to the synthetic, where he's delivered his best recent numbers. Finds easier today and the 3kg claim is handy. Needs some luck but gets the nod in a modest race. NAZORIAN (13) was quickly back on track narrowly beaten this grade at Launceston. Gets in well with the 3kg claim, and he deserves another chance on this surface. POWER MAGNUM (15) has been within range all preparation without breaking through. He's going to be sharper back on this surface and is in light with the 3kg claim. Maps well enough and gets his chance. ROYAL AND TOUGH (1) goes well enough here but has disappointed in his two runs this preparation. He's been freshened up and has the blinkers applied for the first time. Needs luck skipping forward, but the 3kg claim benefits and he won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Warica.
