GOING: S(7)

NOBLE & LEE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS 1600 (STELLA ARTOIS 1500 CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING RACE) 1600m

Track: SOFT 7     True

Solid tempo with My Maebelline Girl leading from Knights Realm and Fosse. ZORMELLA (4) is slowly nearing her best form again, and she battled on bravely to finish fourth as the favourite at Whanganui nearly 3 weeks ago. She has a better draw this time and will also find this an easier assignment. Follow your money. On top for us. FOSSE (7) found winning form again with a dominant win in BM65 company at Otaki nearly 3 weeks ago. There is more depth to this field, but she drops 2.5kg and has the talent to repeat the dose. EL VIENTO (2) has raced her way back into form with a last-start second-place finish at New Plymouth 4 weeks ago. 2 of her 3 career wins have been on this track, and from the pole position, he can go one better. PEERLESS (5) ran on nicely to finish midfield at Pukekohe nearly 4 weeks ago when resuming from a spell in a far tougher field. If he doesn't need this run as well, then he can figure in the top 3. SIXTH GENERATION (6) is an honest gelding when fit, and now that he is back in form, he is worth including in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zormella to win.
