Moderate tempo with Sol De Otono leading the way. SOL DE OTONO (7) ended her last season in some good form, and resumed with a solid effort for fourth here nearly 3 weeks ago over 1200m. She steps straight up to a mile, and her first overdue win is not far away. DAMIANO (1) finished second fresh up, before only battling in a far stronger field at Trentham nearly a fortnight ago. He has a good draw and will finish a lot closer this time, especially over a mile. SUBSONIC (2) made up late ground when finishing third fresh up at Whanganui, and he will be a lot sharper with that run under his belt. He stays at a mile and can figure in the top 3 again. DARREN MICHIE (3) had a good trip and stuck to his task well enough when finishing fifth at Whanganui last time out. He benefits from a kilo claim this time, and another honest effort is on the cards. Each-way value. LUCKYTOBEHERE (10) has mixed her form, and is having her first start from the Clint Isdale stable. She has a good gate and is worth including in all top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Darren Michie each-way.
