Tiago might not get things his own way up front with a few debutants lining up. ARCTIC JEWEL (11) had plenty of trial experience prior to finishing second on debut, and then running third at her next start at Te Aroha just over 3 weeks ago. The blinkers are on for the first time, and she should just about win this. Follow your money. MAZINO (10) is knocking on the door with a brace of second-place finishes, including her last start when leading and only fading late at Te Aroha just over 5 weeks ago. She has a furlong less to travel this time and will take some pegging back. ELUSIVE FAITH (12) has been freshened up since finishing fifth at Tauherenikau nearly 6 weeks ago. She was a game runner-up on debut before that, and can bounce straight back into form from a good draw here. Each-way. OUR LURRINA (13) is a well-bred filly resuming from a spell that would have done her the world of good. Her recent trials have been good, and with the advantage of the pole position, she can make her presence felt in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Arctic Jewel will be hard to beat.
