Solid tempo with Mashean possessing enough dash to find the front. MASHEAN (4) is a strong chance to deliver a running double for the Archibald yard. Returned last time with a solid second at Canberra over 1000m and had missed a lip prior at Kembla Grange on debut. The gate is awkward, but she's likely to be too good regardless. SEMIBREVE (1) was outgraded at Canterbury but had improved sharply prior beaten a half-length at Kembla Grange. That stacks right up, and she's well-placed with a 3kg claimer engaged. ALDEZOR (2) resumes from a spell and is having his first outing under new trainer Kerry Parker. Has pieces of form good enough and presents an easy Kembla Grange trial win. Has to be considered. LUCKY ME (7) debuts for a top metro barn, and her latest trial was good enough to demand attention. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Mashean.
