STARLIGHT NIGHT (11) produced a good effort last start when second over 1400m at this track to make it three minor placings from five runs this preparation. Settles back early but winds up late. Could prove tough to beat. VAL DE GRACE (4) is still a maiden after eight starts. Could only manage to finish seventh last time out over 1500m at this track following a minor placing the run prior. Cannot be left out of calculations. YORUHA (2) missed the placings last start when fifth over 1500m at this track. Look for an improved run. KAFUJI ASSAM (8) took advantage of the good draw and sat on the pace last start before tiring to finish fourth over 1500m at this track. Worth including.
