Kagayaki Fighter or Oken Duke to take the lead and attempt to control the tempo. G T KAISOKU (10) was a placegetter at first two runs from a break then out of the frame latest over 1600m at this track but rises in journey this time. Not far from the winner latest and although untried this longer journey should be further improved. Record at this track is strong. Will prove tough to beat. OKEN DUKE (6) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second here. Should camp just off the leaders. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to take this out. WIN MELANITE (7) didn't make an impact over 2860m at Kokura at his last run before going for a spell on June 29. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Satoru Furusawa. Among the better hopes. CHARLESTON (1) was prominent at the corner and finished second last time over 1500m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 2.5 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Placed to advantage and can fill another top-three spot.
