Moderate pace with She's Hellbent taking up the running ahead of The Jean Gina and Preachabull. Tricky race to begin. WHAT DID YOU SAY (3) wasn't far away two back at Ipswich before getting back and never featuring on the Poly at the Gold Coast most recently. Form two back reads well for this race and he has the speed to be prominent from the draw. Can shed the maiden tag. AVERRED (1) jumped favourite over 1900m here two back before a sound performance at the Sunshine Coast last start. Needs some luck from the draw, but he's good enough to get the job done if he can bring his best form back to this trip. BUFFALO THEORY (2) comes here first-up and was shaping nicely prior to his last start at Toowoomba where he pulled up with a slight issue. Been back to the trials since and he's open to plenty of improvement back to country level. Not out of this. HE IS THE KISS (9) hasn't been far away in recent efforts on the Gold Coast and has to be included. CARAMELFUDGESUNDAE (6) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: What Did You Say gets the nod.
