Plenty of runners but a dawdling affair is on the cards. MILLE GRAZIE (6) tried hard when racing handy throughout at Te Aroha 12 days ago and finished fourth by a neck over 1400m. The extra furlong is the key, and she can again settle handy in the running. She meets the right sort of field and is the one to beat for us. DUBAI ROCKIN (1) will have no more excuses, fifth up from a spell, and from a suitable draw, he is ready to put his best hoof forward. Each-way value. WAY OUT WEST (7) needed the run when dropping back to 1400m from 1800m at Te Aroha last start, finishing sixth and running on late. She is perfectly placed over a mile in a modest field, and she is well worth including in all combinations. VESPHIRE (8) has been unlucky in most of her starts, but sometimes it is her own fault for getting back so far in the running. If the tempo is strong, she can have the last say here.
