Genuine tempo with Beau Warrior leading the way. COOL CONQUEST (5) got too far back last time following a string of narrow defeats. She has won on the synthetic and steps out to this trip for the first time. Has the handy 3kg claim and deserves another chance. OPENSEA (3) has been quinella-placed at his last two behind dominant winners but has covered the others. Comes back 220m today and has an inside barrier and handy 3kg claim. Won his Maiden here by 4.5L over a mile and is well placed to go one better. CORSA VELOCE (6) peaks off placed efforts, the latest over a mile. Has an awkward barrier, but with average luck can make the finish. Ditto JUDGE JENNI (7), who comes back in trip off an improved effort, and Newitt stays aboard. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Cool Conquest.
