Plenty of pace evident with My Roca Fella and Ongatiti leading the way from Garnacho and The Vocalist. MY ROCA FELLA (3) continues to race well, never finishing worse than fourth in his past five starts, boxing on well for a narrow third here last time out. He's no star but puts himself in a great spot here, either leading or sitting second, and from there he can control the speed and take catching. GARNACHO (2) looks suited rising in trip here, putting in a solid effort at Wodonga over 2050m last time out. He's untried over this extra distance but it could bring out a new peak. ONGATITI (7) struggled here last time but did start half the price of My Roca Fella, getting into an awkward spot after drawing out. He can bounce back. WEALDSTONE (6) was good for the new yard last time at Pakenham and won't need to improve much to be figuring prominently now. ALPINE ROCKET (8) has some claims on the run two back. SUGGESTED PLAY: My Roca Fella on top.
