Strong tempo assured from Nakimushi Hikaru and Void leading the charge. POD DUKE (5) is a talented galloper who is unbeaten in two runs this time in, the latest at this track. Far too good last start and expected to be in the finish again. VOID (7) went forward last start here and held on well for third. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. QUANTIZE (9) finished a close fifth last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 1000m at Funabashi. Finds an easier assignment and can get the ball rolling. IRON PITCH (6) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 800m at Urawa. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
