Keen speed battle, with Flicker Jab, Summer Sweet Pea and Blue Sunset prominent. WORTH (12) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when first-up as favourite last start over 1200m at Nakayama. Should tighten right up following that outing. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. FUSETSU (10) is a promising galloper who resumes from a break. Last raced when second over 1200m at Kokura 11 weeks ago. Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and is expected to be in the finish. KARPUZ PELUS (16) is fitter for two runs from a spell, last start finishing 2.75 lengths away in third over 1200m in stakes class at Kyoto. Fitter and a solid top-three hope again. C'EST DIVIN (3) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was in the firing line on the bend before being beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 1200m at Hanshin. Can figure in the finish.
