Solid tempo set by Particulier and Univers. DREAMING UP (1) was out of the money first-up but has since placed two on end and looks close to a win, the latest effort a third over 1600m at Nakayama. Has the right credentials and gate one is a big help. VANGUARD'S HEART (2) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on February 15 when seventh, beaten 4 lengths. Has a decent record at this track with three minor placings from four runs. Among the leading chances. GOLD SHEEN (6) is back from a spell of ten weeks. Turned in a fair effort at this track over 1600m at his only run last prep, finishing fifth and beaten 2.75 lengths. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to stop. PARTICULIER (7) is back from a spell of eight months. Raced once last campaign and finished third over 2000m at Nakayama. Christophe Lemaire stays aboard and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Best figures stack up.
