Pace genuine with Colophon and Mountain Top pressing hard closely followed by Lady Boss and Istolea Merc. COLOPHON (10) lived up to expectations when demolishing rivals by 5.5 lens over this trip at Kembla Grange with the 58.5kg. In form jockey aboard and has the speed to get across from the draw. The one to beat again. YANKEE ONE (9) won two of her three starts this prep and looks destined for better races. Relished the going and extra distance with an effortless victory over 1400m at Warwick Farm. Stalks the speed and gets her chance. ISTOLEA MERC (3) another from the Baker assembly line racing quickly through his grades. Looks up to this after giving nothing else a chance when a big winner over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Don't dismiss. MICKEY'S MEDAL (4) drops in trip and will find this easier after fading late when ninth over 1500m at Hawkesbury. Assess on earlier runs this time in. DUVANA (14) resumes after racing without luck from the wide draw when tenth over 1800m in the G3 Gloaming at Rosehill last October. Fitted with two searching trials and can surprise fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Colophon and Yankee One to slug it out.
