Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Strength. BIDAAYA (15) was well supported when resuming last time out over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt and proved too strong, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and will be a tough nut to crack again. STRENGTH (11) hasn't been far away lately, beaten 1.5 lengths at his most recent appearance when second over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Strong record with Christophe Lemaire in the irons, including a win. Deserves respect. VENDOME (12) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 2.5 lengths at this track. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Backmarker who keeps coming. One of the contenders. ESTRELLA DE BELEN (13) resumes. The winner of two from five when fresh. Good enough to test this field.
