Strong tempo with Come On Glamour and Ha'penny Hatch pressing forward while Headbanger kicks up on their inside.
The $200,000 Listed Calaway Gal. The well-bred HI BARBIE (1) looked good winning the Listed Phelan Ready on debut before being too bad to be true in the Group 3 BJ McLachlan. Was then not too far away in the Magic Millions before being tipped out for time to furnish. Tuned up for this with a recent trial placing and should prove very tough to hold out. HA'PENNY HATCH (2) has gone bang bang here to start the career albeit in lesser grade. Hard to ignore winning form and looms as the main danger. LISTEN SWEETHEART (13) is facing the starter for the first time but showed ability in the latest NSW trial and the stable has a handy record with fillies. Respect any market confidence. The well-related HEADBANGER (5) (half to G3 winner Semillion) should be able roll along in front and will give backers a sight. DRAGONNE ROUGE (3) next in line in a cracking contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 1,2,13,5.
