GOING: S(6)

TAB FEDERAL 1400m

Track: SOFT 5   Rain (Max: 18)   Rail: +4m 1000m-380m, True Remainder. (Pent: 4.42)

Arthur The Great to take up the running with Demanding Mo and Chop The Ice close at hand. Good race to end the day. ARTHUR THE GREAT (3) sat up on the speed in the Wagga Town Plate Prelude last start and was only gunned down late when favourite. Looks to have found a suitable race stepping back up in distance. Can get back to winning ways. MOUNTAIN CHATTER (4) ducked underneath his rivals to take the win in a similar race 24 days ago, scoring by 0.2L. His form has worked out well since and the wide draw doesn't matter as he'll get back anyway. Watch for him flashing late in the race. DEMANDING MO (1) was far too good here last start despite his limited luck, bursting through to score by 1.1L. Maps for a kind run once again and is well weighted after the claim of Cahill. Can land the knockout blow again. CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (5) is racing in top order and gets some weight relief today. Can put his best foot forward. TIDAL RUSH (9) bumped into a smart one last start and can feature down in the handicap. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Arthur The Great in the last.
