Strong pace from Just Folk and Williamsburg pushing forward, along with Mississippi Prince.
The $300,000 Listed Brisbane Mile. QLD Oaks placegetter MISS JOELENE (7) showed she had returned in good order with a dominant Doomben victory first-up and will have come on with that run now under her belt. The step-up to the mile should be ideal and can make it back-to-back victories to commence the campaign. PORT LOCKROY (2) wasn't too far off them in the G1 Doncaster last time out and will find this task much easier. Looks the class runner. JUST FOLK (1) was a touch disappointing in the Doncaster but go on the strong Group 3 win two back. Worth another chance. RISING PACIFIC (9) has won three of his past four and has earned his shot at this company. Too good to ignore. The well-named TENZING (17) rounds out the selections from the inside marble. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Quinella 7,2,1.
