Strong tempo with Apache Deel, All Astern and Vainstream going forward ahead of Twin Seas and Single Beat. ALL ASTERN (3) led them up last start at Wagga in a stronger race and couldn't hold on, beaten 2.6L. This is a much easier race though and she has enough early speed to offset the sticky gate. Can get back to winning ways. BEAU ROCK (5) disappointed two back before a strong effort in this grade at Moruya most recently, beaten 1.8L. Needs a touch of luck from the draw, but has the figures to be right in the thick of the action. SINGLE BEAT (4) disappointed two back and was worse again last start at Queanbeyan, but this looks to shape much better. Back onto a bigger track now with an inside barrier and she can be a big improver. VAINSTREAM (1) just missed a fortnight ago at Queanbeyan and the winner of that race has won since. Can go one better this time. OUR RED PLANET (2) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: All Astern can get the job done.
