Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. TOKINO PIRATES (8) didn't do a bad job to finish 2.25 lengths away in third last start over 1600m at this track. That followed a first-up win at this track. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including six wins. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth serious consideration. MEINER ASTORIA (3) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.75 lengths at this track and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. SANEI BRAVE (6) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 1600m at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
