Solid tempo set by Spirit Lake and Rainagain. DAME ANNIE (3) just missed fresh before a 2.3L defeat at Orange last start over 1000m as favourite. This is a step back in grade off that performance and she steps up to this trip again third-up. Can bounce back to her best and get the job done. APPARATE (7) was far too good first-up for the new stable when running over the top to score by 1.7L at the Sapphire Coast. That was a heavy track, but she has performed well on firmer decks in the past. Nicely placed and can go back-to-back. SHE'SADARE (4) won well two back before running in a strong CL1 here most recently. Maps for a lovely run yet again and should be right in the finish. MISS EMMA (1) wasn't far away in this grade two back before tackling a stronger race most recently. Gets all the favours off the inside. STURTY (6) won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dame Annie goes on top.
