Genuine tempo with Brickwork leading the way. BRICKWORK (4) improved sharply on her ninth two starts back at Kokura with a win over 1600m at Hanshin eight weeks ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths after being prominent at the corner. The engagement of Koji Nishizuka is a positive move. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is worth serious consideration. RED BELLE AME (1) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1600m at Hanshin, finishing second and beaten 1.3 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a major role. OTOKOGI AMPAN (6) resumes in a similar race to his last run 12 weeks ago when third, beaten 1.75 lengths. Consistent type who is one to consider. TERA STELLAR (5) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a ninth over 1400m at Hanshin. Has the class to produce a better result.
