Solid tempo anticipated with Austmarr leading the way. CLIMBING STAR (3) made a big impression when resuming in the G3 RN Irwin Stakes, storming home from the back to grab third over 1100m at this track. Fitter now and boasts an excellent record at this distance. Expect her to be hitting the line hard again. ASFOORA (1) was brave when resuming in the same race, leading throughout to score by a narrow margin. Has a class edge and should get across to race on speed. The wide draw is a challenge, but she’s good enough to overcome it. COMMEMORATIVE (7) was strong late when narrowly beaten at G2 level at Randwick. Has shown glimpses of elite ability. Could put it all together. A LITTLE DEEP (6) resumes off a Flemington win and a sharp trial. She’s lightly raced, progressive, and looks up to this level. Booking of Shinn adds further confidence. G3 PJ Bell Stakes winner SHE'S GOT PIZZAZZ (15) is still improving and can play a major role from a favourable draw. Don't underestimate. CHARM STONE (9) and ROLL ON HIGH (10) are others with claims.
