Small field but Tin Pan Alley, Porridge Boy and King Harald can ensure a genuine tempo. GREEN DIAMOND (4) raced from just off the pace, quickened up nicely and raced away to score easily over 1000m at this track last start. She is a progressive type and can follow up with another victory. TIN PAN ALLEY (3) won on debut over 1200m on the Vaal Classic course lasts tart. Despite losing a length leaving the start, he finished well and won easier than the official margin suggests. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he can repeat the dose. LAVA COUNTY (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second of eight over 1200m at Vaal when well supported. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he can't go one better. KING HARALD (2) after winning on debut two runs back ran fourth last start over 1160m at this track. Has each-way prospects.
