Off the inside draw Valtari should bounce straight to the lead and set a solid tempo. JUSTIN POWER (6) lines up for the first time since December 5. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1600m at this track. Has ability and should be right in the finish. SHOT OF THE DAY (12) ran well below his best last time over 1650m here beaten 6 lengths into fourth at $2.10. Well placed and can bounce back. VALTARI (1) is a distance specialist who has been in good form, scoring three back at this circuit then placing twice in a row, most recently finishing third over 1600m here. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. AI MI HAI TEA (13) missed the frame as favourite last time over 1600m at this course after she had won two races on end. Goes well at this journey with five wins from 14 starts and is one of the better hopes.
