SHIHONO IMPULSO (2) is in top form with two wins on end, the most recent an effortless 5 lengths victory over 1600m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has never missed the frame here at this journey in four starts, including three wins. Will be hard to stop. KEN BRIDGE YU (1) scored last start at this track over 1400m after she was in contention on the corner. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring two times from three starts. Tsutsui Yusuke who has scored on her five times retains the mount. Expecting a bold showing. TRUE GRIT (3) was fair fresh then improved nicely to win by half a length last time over 1400m at this track. Decent placing record at this longer trip. Gets chance to show best. MERMIN LOVE (4) did a great job to score by half a length over today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders.
