Strong tempo primarily from Amuleto, Tell All and Sweet Dream over Kamakura Bakufu and Miami. AMULETO (6) has been racing well this prep, scoring last start over 1400m at Urawa to make it two wins from four runs this time in. Has a high cruising speed. Expected to be in the finish. STOIC NOAH (1) could only manage fifth when resuming at Urawa two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. TIME TO KILL (3) resumes today after filling a minor placing at her last appearance at Ohi over 1650m on January 13. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Katsuyoshi Uchida. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. GASTON (5) was beaten 6 lengths into fourth at the second run back from a break in a 1400m contest at Urawa at his latest appearance. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
