Strong tempo, primarily from Charleston and Moon Halo. FIAMMA FULMINE (8) has scored at her last two starts, most recently by half a length over 1400m at this track as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with three wins from four starts. Sure to go well again. LILY BAROWS (1) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish half a length away in second over 1400m at Urawa. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves plenty of thought. CHARLESTON (10) did a great job to score by a head over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. ALRISCHA (7) has not appeared since he finished second over 2000m at Urawa on November 22. Has to be respected.
