INCEPTION (6) scored a win two back and was good again last time out when second at Morioka Dirt over 1400m, beaten 1.3 lengths. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Has been in solid form this campaign. Should prove tough to beat. KNIFE REST (1) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by 1.5 lengths over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. Drawn to be prominent again so has strong claims. NAMURA BANZAI (3) was fair when sixth last time out over 1600m at Morioka Dirt, beaten 5.5 lengths. That followed a win at Morioka Dirt at the previous outing. Nicely placed to play a role. BLEU CHATEAU (5) ran below expectations last time but the prior form reads well.
