Wilderness Star to take charge ahead of Steely Girl at a solid tempo. CHISATO (12) handy filly who pulled up lame (2/5) in the off foreleg and also lost its off fore plate when tenth over 1200m at Gosford second-up. Won well first-up and deserves another chance in this easier contest. MAGGIE SPARKLES (8) kept fresh for this after she swooped late for a well deserved victory over 1400m at Armidale. Can sit off the good tempo and take a hand in the finish. STEELY GIRL (5) shouldered the 61.5kg with a tough fourth over 1500m at this track. Kept fresh and can surprise over the shorter trip. SAVVYROCKER (4) was better last time and note that two of her three wins have come here on her home track. She can fire and if she does then she is a threat. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chisato each way.
