Solid tempo with Corky possessing enough dash to find the front.
TERRITORY STYLE (5) resumed in an unsuitably short 900m maiden at Wellington last start but went desperately close to scoring, charging late to go under in a photo. Finished runner-up when second-up last prep over this distance at Armidale. More furnished now and looks ready to win. ERION (1) led and looked a big chance of breaking the ice at start 21 but found one better in the dying stages over this trip at Wellington last time out. Hard to get too enthused with a record like his but he is going better than most of this field. NORTHERN EXPOSURE (3) is back after a 19-week spell. Will be better for the run and a bit more ground will help but in a thin race he is worth some thought. MOON DART (8) showed pace but weakened at the end of 1400m at Wellington recently. Might be the big improver back to this distance with the blinkers on. AIZUCHI (6) was just fair on debut last time but can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Territory Style to win.
