Narrowly beaten fresh and fitter again. Should feature in the finish. CALENDULA (7) is resuming from a spell of five months and having her first run for the Kiyoshi Muroi yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Tokyo over 1400m. Has ability and should be right in the finish. BALANCOIRE (14) has not appeared since she finished seventh over 1200m at Kokura on February 8. One of the contenders. COLOR OF SUCCESS (13) is back after a break of six months. At the last run before the layoff she finished tenth over 1400m at Niigata. Solid top-three hope.
