Genuine tempo with Spartan Lass and Blinding Luck leading the way. CRASHED AND BURNED (3) resumes today on his home deck with a nice trial win under his belt here recently. McNaught was on board for that effort and remains in the irons today. Needs some luck from the barrier, but looks ready to fire a shot on his return to racing. ZAHEADLINES (7) is on debut today and strikes a suitable race. His latest trial was solid enough and there's nothing to be running scared of in this maiden. Drawn out, but it wouldn't surprise to see him come up trumps in his debut. CLOSE CALL (4) is another who has looked the goods at the trials coming in and he possesses plenty of upside. Showed enough prior to the break to suggest he has some ability. Can return with a bang. BLINDING LUCK (8) will be fitter for the fresh effort and coming back in trip may suit. Can improve. SPARTAN LASS (9) has her first start in WA and is not to be discounted in what looks a much easier assignment for her. SUGGESTED PLAY: Crashed And Burned gets the nod in the opener.
