Plenty of pace with Himeros and The Drafter up front, pressured by The Bentley and Recovery Road. STRASSMAN (3) finally broke the maiden status at start 13 when a comfortable winner over 1400m at Wellington a fortnight ago. Failed at his only try at the mile but it was at the end of a campaign. Sure to give a good account. LITLFELA (7) battled on okay but was a bit one-paced in the race won by Strassman recently. Looks ready for a first try at 1600m - it will be no surprise if he can close the gap on today's rival. THE BENTLEY (4) racked up a tenth minor placing when runner-up at the Grenfell picnics last start. Back to 1600m is a plus as he has three placings at the trip from four attempts. Each-way. INDIE MAE (10) is still a maiden and hasn't run for seven weeks but is worth including in wider exotic bets. SUGGESTED PLAY: Strassman to win this one.
