CENTRAL FM MAIDEN 1200m Track: HEAVY 9 True |

|---|---|---|---|---|
|
Plenty of first starters engaged which makes it tricky to map, but we can assume a solid tempo. SMALL FORT (4) was unbeaten in 3 trials prior to finishing fourth on debut at the favourite at Whanganui nearly 3 weeks ago, when just peaking on his effort late. He will naturally improve with the experience and is ready to set the record straight in this. WYE VALLEY (5) resumes from a long spell for a new stable, and she has trialled twice recently to get ready. The market will be the best guide. PLATINUM NORWAY (7) was a lot better second up when finishing fourth at Whanganui, and she will continue to improve with more racing. Include in all top 4 combos. SUNDOWN SAV (8) is bred for longer and was runner-up in a recent trial. Her stable is in form, and any market moves will be worth following. WAVE (6) will improve on whatever she does here, but she has the ace draw, and is worth including in the small field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Small Fort can win this.
