Pace looks genuine from Steele My Sunshine, Native Clan and Skelmorlie, closely attended by High Tail Eagle. ELEGANTLY WRITTEN (1) brings a win and a near miss at Launceston over this trip and drops back in grade from the latest with a handy 3kg claim. Rates to bounce back. SKELMORLIE (3) resumed in solid order and the top jockey replaces the apprentice. Has the inside gate and plenty up here sleeve. MONTEZULU (2) did a good job to just miss three back this trip but has been planer since. Maps better today and will be in the finish back to his best. NATIVE CLAN (4) won here comfortably as favourite three back but hasn't fired since. Maps well and will get his chance in this line-up.
