Expecting a strong pace from the outset with plenty of speed engaged. RIDDLE TRIGGER (10) has put together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on March 29 over 1400m when she got home by 9 lengths. Winning rider Shinsuke Ishikawa retains the mount. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form she is one of the chief contenders. BAILEY TESORO (1) is a progressive type still in first campaign but off to a great start to career. Already a three time winner including last start when scoring by 8 lengths over 900m at this track. Going well and among the main chances. ANILA (3) returns from a spell of ten weeks and did win first-up last time in work over 1400m at this track. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SMART ROBERT (8) sat on the pace when fresh from a spell last start but faded to be beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth over 1400m at this track. Generally runs well second up. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Can feature in the finish.
