Doubt they will go too hard without a noted leader engaged. IL PATRIGNO (1) is racing well this time in, not far away when in the market at Ballarat last time out in a good maiden before tackling a much stronger affair at Caulfield last time in a Class 3, beaten 1.4 lengths into fourth. Comes way back in grade now and gets his chance. REGAL GENT (5) tackled a much stronger race at Mornington last time out and was well beaten. The two runs to kick off the campaign were rock solid and read very well for this, go close. SILKY SETH (7) has placed in his past three, well backed last time at Echuca last start. He can settle closer here and run a good race. RIVERLEA PRINCE (6) improved nicely last time and another step forward can have him in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Il Patrigno to win.
