Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Leading contender. FUJI GAIFU (2) resumes from a spell of nine weeks after closing off last preparation with three consecutive minor placings. Has a strong record at this distance with a win and three minor placings from four starts and is right in this. MATSURI DAIKO (4) impressed when successful on debut over 1600m at this track nine weeks ago and has not raced since. Sure to play a major role. BLUE SKY BLUE (7) finished third last start over 1600m at Chukyo, beaten 2.5 lengths. Has the talent to take this out.
