DMAK ELECTRICAL MAIDEN 1600m Track: HEAVY 9 True |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Strong pace from Keepz Occurring and Bar Room matching motors with Port Chalmer close at hand. WEOWNARANAWAY (10) was well found in the market when resuming on her home track at Waverley just over 2 weeks ago, and she battled away fairly for fifth, when clearly needing the run. She can be a quick improver in this. PORT CHALMER (1) is knocking on the door for his first win, and he was game in defeat when finishing runner-up at Tauherenikau 5 weeks ago. The wetter the better for his fit fellow, and he has top 3 claims again. BALLINRAN (2) is a lightly tried gelding with ability, and he is resuming here with a sound trial under his belt. A wide gate can help if the track is heavy, and he is expected to make a bright return. HARLAN COUNTY (7) fought on gamely for third last start, and he can make further improvement here. Include. UNUSUAL CORTEZ (6) has to be respected if there is any money for him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Weownaranaway can win.
