Skaw Valley and Dictation to battle for the leading role. ALTEZZA (7) has found it hard to win another race, and her last couple of starts for third have been good enough form for a race like this. She may not want it too wet, but she is rock-hard fit, and she has a big chance to break her win drought in this. SUBTLE IMAGE (4) has recently changed stables, and a change of scenery can really help this once promising gelding. His only win has come third up in the past, and he is ready to put his best hoof forward. Each way value. AIR DANCER (5) was third at Rotorua on Wednesday, and was runner-up at Matamata before that. Stick with him. SLICK CHICK (10) needed her fresh up run at Te Aroha over 1400m, and she will relish the extra 700m here. She benefits from a 4kg claim, and in this easier field, she can figure in the top 3 at good odds. DICTATION (2) is an accomplished hurdler who still retains some dash on the flat. Jonathan Riddell in the saddle is a positive lead, so follow any market moves. SUGGESTED PLAY: Subtle Image each way, and Slick Chick is also worth including.
