Moderate tempo with Sebilla leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. MICRO MIKKI (1) hasn't won for a while but his recent form in strong races has been commendable. Finished third at massive odds in the Country Championship Final two back then raced five deep and understandably failed to ping in the straight in a Midway at Randwick last Saturday. Nicely in on 58kgs and should be too good for these. RED BERYL (3) dropped back in grade and returned to form last time out, picking up a BM74 over 1400m at Warren. Has enjoyed a five-week let-up since that run. Drops 5.5kgs after the claim so although back in open company he should be competitive. TURGENEV (8) is working his way back into form. Turned in an eye-catcher over this trip at Orange last time. Up in grade but not out of it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Micro Mikki to win.
