Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Shosan Kizuna. DANON WILHELM (5) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a neck over 1600m at this track as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with five wins and two minor placings from nine starts. Big chance once again. SHOSAN KIZUNA (6) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 1600m at this track, beaten one length. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. JOSHO POWER (3) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 1400m at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. SPEED YELLOW (12) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fourth, beaten just 2.5 lengths, last start over 1400m at this track. Can feature again.
